Ran into a really cool chick I befriended a week ago over a conversation about her pursuit of a certain 'seafoam bike." Had one of those conversations that can go on all night, went for blue cheese truffles at Pix, and later a board game (with another friend) at Its Beautiful Pizza. The Lucky Lab has board game night every two weeks. It used to be Thursday nights, but now its Mondays... maybe because way too many people were showing up for them??
I've went to a couple and they were a lot of fun, with a good mix of people. Its put on by Meetup and Meet-In,. but you can just show up and bring a game (or not) and join the mayhem.
THey both intermix, but the Meetin crowd usually bring and play family boardgames, while the meetup gurus bring and play a bunch of different Euro games. which I love being introduced to the unique and diverse Eurogames/ I find them a ton of fun.
I'm always up for playing games, so if you're ever "itching" to play... I'm 'game'... I'm not far from the park blocks you some times out in, so my house, parks some where else. what ever! Bring it on! (and intro me to a new game!)
