They should go everywhere, I hate cell phones. Unless you're on call for something important you don't need one, and if you are, get a bleeding walkie-talkie.

Or even a beeper. Doctors on call still use those alot, according to my brother the med student. Jammers can be configured to leave those alone as well.
There's one I found a year or two ago for $150 that works within25-50ft. I want it for movie theaters. I won't leave it on. It'd be my "shut up," switch.
private residences ONLY and the feild must not extend outside of building walls. possibly in court houses, but only if cell phones are not allowed for ANYONE including justices and constables. never in any public place, could case extreme problems in emergencies or search and rescue mainly id say, not in the united states
if you want the movies to be cell phone free, get managers to start banning people who have been caught with cell phones, have it a big thing, if you are caught, you will be escorted out, if you do not leave you will be charged with resisting a merchant and the police will take you away, come back and you get felony tresspass? dont take away my ability to use a cell phone, or be an ass and drive around in your car with one, or go to a cofee shop or crank yours up, go after the use of cell phones innappropriately, and do it WITHOUT INFRINGING ON MY RIGHTS AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN
Funny. I don't remember there being an inalienable write to use use a cell phone. Besides, people managed to go to the movies or other public places without them before easily enough. Jammers can be configured to only affect cell phones and not other device likely to be used to get people's attention in emergency situations like beepers and radios.
Most movie theaters have anti-cell policies, but simply don't have the resources to take care of every jackass that leaves his phone on in there. I'm all for them allowing theaters (or any other place where there is supposed to be no talking; for example, libraries) to install jammers like they have in some other countries.
I Agree. Heck, I wasn't going to keep it on, just use it as an off switch. And "the rights of my fist end at your jaw." Their infringing on my right to a quiet movie theater.
