I just found the note I stuck in my checkbook when I stopped talking to whiney pants:

"Kallie, Next time you're happy, it's gonna end up bad. Just don't be happy."

I'll be happy if I wanna be.

Especially after this weekend when I get a few drinks in me and spill.

Happiness is the emotion we crave and feel when things are falling into place out of feeling and purpose. It's when elements are forced that we become unhappy as we predict happiness upon ourselves without pure judgement and justification.
