First of all, wicked cool job!! I love that part of the Ft. Wayne Zoo! Now please understand that I understand that animals in the zoo are still wild and are not there to be exploited. YOUR Aunt Karen, however, wants to know if she comes on a day you are working can you arrange for her to touch an orangutan? Seems like a strange and impossible request but that's MY mom and I promised I'd ask in a moment of weakness.

Haha...yeah I'm not even allowed to touch the Orangs so that is a negative on relatives touching them ;) I may only get to assist someone with training them, but that's about it. There is very limited contact with full time keepers too. Tell her I'm sorry, but those are the rules ;)

How are things going with you and Dave? Hopefully everything is going okay!

Things are going well. Healing is happening slowly but surely. We are having a BBQ tomorrow with beef ribs, mashed potatoes, etc... on Sunday (tomorrow) You are more than welcome to attend, we can provide a ride to and from if you are interested. In my opinion Dave is a more than decent grill master. Look for a journal update about the rest coming soon.
