So I just got back from the candlelight vigil for those that died at Virginia Tech and it really kind of opened my eyes to the idea that we could die at any moment.  We don't get to pick when we go, and when we do we usually leave behind lots of friends and family that are left to cope with our death.

HOORAY!!!  I got the Howick/Williams desk staff position for next year!!  I had a really good interview and then she just offered me the job!  I get to move in a little early next year since training is August 14th or so.  I'm really excited about this.  I'm looking forward to working and the money will help a bunch too, but man!  I'm excited ( Read more... )

So just got back to the dorm from up North.  It was a nice Easter for the most part, although it had it's moments.

So yesterday I saw that the Humane Society was hiring and I asked if they were hiring seasonal people...so I could get some experience under my belt, but sadly they don't hire part time/seasonal people.  That upset me and now I'm applying to Petco ;)  I just want to work with animals over the summer...is that too much to ask ( Read more... )

Saturday: Walked the canal at night with Steve, his cousin Joe, and his girlfriend Emily.  After that we went to TGI Fridays, went back to his place and watched Accepted.  Didn't get home til what I thought was 1:30, but due to the time change it ended up being 2:30!
