fic: the wonder that's keeping the stars apart; eleven/rose

Note: This is the first fanfic I've written in a year and my first that I've ever written for this fandom but this came to me after I first watched The Big Bang and writing this fic was just a matter of transcribing this little scene in my head. I feel nervous writing for these characters though

This is such a great little fic; both Rose and 11 are so in character. It'd be super if you could do a sequel or a series of scenes between them!

Thank you! I'm glad you think they were in character, that's probably my biggest worry of all. I don't think I could write a sequel exactly since I pictured this as a one-shot but a series of Eleven/Rose intrigues me. I wouldn't be opposed to writing more of them. :)

You caught me by the title- it's one of my favorite poems. And you like Laura Marling! She's fantastic! I found her through last.fm too, actually XD

That... hurt, a bit. I always hurt when I read about Rose/10II, because then I remember that the Doctor's still alone. It's sad. But this was great. I loved the bit with Tony, and 11's excitement. Because he/she'd still technically be their son or daughter... I think. Gee. That's tricky. O.o

I absolutely adore Laura Marling, her music is amazing. :)

Eleven loves kids a lot and he's so great with them that I can picture him being really happy for Rose/TenII if they had kids, and yes I think he'd picture them as his own in a way even if he doesn't get to raise them or be with them.
