As for your two month old: I was babysitting my roommate's eight month old, and he ends up with a really high fever of 40C (104F), and I'm panicking, so I call her and let her know. Her reaction 'don't worry, he'll be fine'.
So me freaking out and not having any idea what to do, called my friend's mom for advice as to how to get his fever down. I got it down to a 39C, which is only one degree but it's the difference between possible irreversable damage so panic and head straight for the emergency room and watch him really carefully for the next little while.
eventually I got it down to 37 (98F) and I was like 'aah, relief'.
i don't know much about pediatrics, so i always end up freaking out when there is something in the slightest bit wrong with hime (medically). but 104F temp is WAY bad... even for an adult!
i thought you had fallen off the face of the earth! my 9 month old brother was just recently sick with the flu too, i think its an epidmic, haha. anyway, sorry for valentines sucking, i hope everything with you & your family (military too!) is good.
