My daughter is disappointed that her area didn't get the amount of snow promised. WTH! I'd be cheering. No, I'd be relieved since I live in South FLorida and any amount of snow would be amazing and a disaster. She said that Lewiston, ME was supposed to get 3 inches an hour. I don't know the hidden meaning behind 'an excuse to make soup', but she sounds sweet.

So how much snow did she get?
I live in Toronto, and I got this much last night.

Hardly any snow. I'd say that was reason to celebrate and the 10 degree temperature is reason for soup.

She is sweet. She has adjusted so well to the colder conditions and usually doesn't even mention most of the snow fall. It's like. It just is.

Well be getting snow tomorrow, not much but every flake is one too many! *g* Going around by bicycle does that to you.

I make soup every Saturday. For the past 25 years! :)

I've been feeling like making soup over the weekends lately. I know that 40's and 50's is nothing to the north but to us Florida people it's down right freezing.

We got half an inch of snow and bitter cold. I wish we'd have gotten more snow to blanket the chill. Single digits are NOT my liking.
