jason & corey were handing out flyers at church last sunday (easter sunday) and i bluntly told them i couldn't go. hahaha. i didn't mean to be that blatant. but they said they're playing again in may, so maybe i can check them out then. but i generally don't like "battle of the band" type shows - mosh pits & drunk kids everywhere, just like what you wrote about.
wow, first place. that's awesome. but i can believe it - jason has some serious guitar skills & corey too, i guess, from what i've seen.
haha.. yeah. sometimes the battle of the bands shows get a bit boring. I remember when we played, there were a LOT of screamo bands.. basically a lot of it sounded the same.. with the exception of a few that were genuinely good.. too bad they were at the end with us, so besides us and the 3 other bands near the end, there wasnt much of a crowd. but there was this one band that was composed of these kids (and I really dont think they were more than 11 or 12.), and I thought they were pretty good. Give them a few more years and a little more time on the instruments, hopefully they'll go in a good direction. ...but Im getting off topic. ...blah... and now that I read that article, I didn't know the Rockit was closing. blah.
lol i didn't know you knew Corey and Jason and the band. :( couldn't make the show though.... i was at york the whole day. lol and yes uncle hamlet is a cool guy to hang around with.
