Oh I know, I feel like Mildmay took a huge step forward in being able to tell Felix no... and then Felix just went and completely fucked everything up again. I feel like sometimes he's starting to make progress and then it's just like he doesn't make any progress at all! I've simply contually wanted to smack Felix throughout this whole series. I don't know though, I think this might force him into actions that might make progress as he hasn't made before. However, there are too many unanswered questions at this point to know for sure.

Yeah I know. But I don't think it was the physical abuse that got me it was the way he responds when Mildmay tries to open up to him and he just completely blows him off. That's what pisses me off the most. I think the scene on the wall, where they talked about not really having anything in common really got to me. I just want to lock them both in a room until they work it out... I haven't read the Berg book's yet. Though I have Flesh & Spirit on my shelf, actually its among the ones I'm trying to decided between... as to what to read next. BTW did you get around to reading 'The lies of Lock Lamora" ?
