Nobody was watching Jay Leno's show, because it fucking sucks, because he's not fucking funny and needed to retire like ten years ago. So the dumbasses at NBC thought "WELL SENSE THE SHOW IS FAILING, THAT OBVIOUSLY MEANS WE NEED TO PUSH A TALENTED COMEDIAN ASIDE, AND GIVE THIS ASSHOLE HIS TIME SLOT! DEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!" So now Conan's pissed, because they want to move his show to midnight. But Conan has the option of finding another network. Nobody's said officially what's going to happen yet though.

It's all fucking stupid, and Conan is way too talented and classy to be treated this way. He doesn't deserve it.

UGH! I'm equally pissed at all of this BUT I found an upside to this (at least for me) Jay gets the 11:35 spot that's fine! That just mean I'll be able to watch The Colbert Report and then switch to Conan. And yeah it still suck for them to be 30 minutes later.

That's assuming Conan stays on NBC. Jay just shouldn't be on TV at all. He fucked up, NBC fucked up and Leno should just move on. Go back to stand up or something. It's absolutely rediculous that Conan has to pay for their mistakes!

Man, what does Leno have on NBC? He stopped being funny about 20 years ago!

He's also more than a little bit of a backstabber - climbed over Letterman to get the Tonight show gig.

UGH. Well, as a lot of people have said, time for Conan to move on - to ABC, HBO, cable, anywhere but NBC.

I guess finding a new network would be the best thing for him. Wherever he goes, I hope they realize what a talented comedian they have, and treat him with the respect he deserves.

I actually wasn't aware of what a backstabbing a-hole Leno was before, but I am now. It's sad. Well, things worked out pretty well for Letterman and I really hope things work out for Conan, too.

If I were Conan, I'd quit the show at the end of the season, and get to writing and producing a great vehicle for Andy Richter that the two of them can promote the hell out of and have it be at least a modest hit. On ABC or Fox.

Then I'd hang out on the beach, catch up on my reading and laugh and laugh and laugh.

Yeah, the whole late night debacle is super annoying.

Conan is a good talk show host. Jay Leno is NOT. NBC should hire him out to do radio. Let the people who actually want him around still get him in a medium most beloved to them. By which I mean, LET THE OLD FOLKS HAVE HIM ON THEIR FANCY NEW RADIOS, OKAY, NBC, AND LEAVE CONAN ALONE.

Ha ha ha! That's a great idea! Or let him do a stand up tour of old age homes sponsored by AARP.
