It's been about a month since Aussiecon 4, but I didn't get around to writing about it earlier.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for a couple of nights and then at the Hilton, which did a rather nice breakfast. (Free wifi, spring rolls and drinks in the afternoons in the executive lounge was neat too.) The con didn't really seem to end, as such, as

My enjoyment on the con wasn't as marred by the same issues, though I suspect that if I could do a real comparision to previous Worldcon parties I'd feel the same. The UK bid party and finding the right room parties aftewards helped a lot.

Did miss the lack of a dead dog party, however, perhaps I should have crashed the volunteers party, but that would have seemed wrong.
