Humans are inherently human is sort of a logical fallacy, don't ya think? One of those circular arguments that way. And if you're using it as an idea, you can't really generalize on 8,000,000,000 people when you haven't been out of the country or to cultures completely different than our own. Someplaces I've been, people at first seemed rude as a mutha, but you realized it was more that they weren't inclined to force themselves upon others. Weren't being self-serving, just showing their own form of respect. Hell, I can think of plenty of times I inconvenience myself to drive your slack ass around

I'm not willing to say that all people are entirely selfish. Selfless acts do happen and probably more often than we may notice. As a rule, though... probably.
