So I had DSL turned on and I was officially and finally finished being moved in.

Then my house caught on fire and now I'm a homeless vagrant.

No, I'm not kidding. :-/

So, about me being online a lot and talking to you guys all the effin time? Yeah. Not so much. Not for a while, now.

A small electrical fire started in a power outlet on our front porch. The fire traveled up and down the walls, burning through most of our attic and a sizeable portion of the crawlspace, as well as the loadbearing front wall.

The firemen sprayed through the attic and busted up the concrete on the front porch to spray into the crawlspace. Fire damage to both areas is extensive and water damage is still soaking in.

All interior floors are going to be ruined. Every bit of drywall, ruined. Most ceilings, ruined. The entire house will also have to be rewired.

On first glance you can't tell the house was very badly damaged at all... It's all in the small details. The house is unliveable while this is all being done and getting all of this done could take months - if the house can be saved.

So I'm in the market for a new house, as you may have imagined.

We're all fine. Hell, I didn't even lose any personal belongings. The fire was in the crawlspace and in the attic, so structurally the house is very questionable at best. From the interior, so far since water damage hasn't been able to set in yet, it looks like only a minor fire happened.

The end result, though, is that I'm currently homeless... which sucks ass.
