The beggars are made of fail, they're professional too, some of them are here in Trondheim and it's fucking annoying.
The best thing is to completely ignore them, although I would love to just give them a piece of used gum when they follow me down the street and stick their used coffee cups in my face, ugh.
I just heard yesterday that I got accepted into HiBu/Kongsberg so we are definitely moving! That means that our apartment will be available as of 1. aug or so.
Have you already heard about student housing? We have applied for it through SiBu, but didn't realize that they are fully furnished. We have tons of pretty good furniture here and don't know what to do about that.
What a shame that we are going as soon as you are coming.
I haven't heard anything from student housing yet, they said they would give out offers in May so we might be screwed....
I hear you on the furniture issue. The SiT housing comes with hvitevarer so I am not sure what to do with the ones we have. I don't want to sell it, we won't make much money off it and we have to buy new ones when we're moving to the private market. Do you know any storage facilities in Trondheim (a la Public Storage or whatever they are called in the States)?
May! SiBu says that they start the lotto Jun 1. But they just told us that we cant have the dog there. Jerks. We are at a loss.
If you get into SiT housing, you might ask your landlord how much he will give you to leave what you have there. I have not heard of any storage here, but I cant imagine it would be worth the cost of storing it.
We have to give our notice before Jun 1, but I can tell the landlord that you guys might be interested. This is really not a bad first apartment and right on the bus line. I am sure you are hoping for student housing because like us, you will be broke paying too much rent. But we have been able to handle kr 6000...
