Reading list

A friend of a friend posts in her LJ a list of books she reads in a year and I thought it was a neat idea. She aims for 50 but somehow I thought she aimed for 100. Embarrassingly, I actually reached 100 (actually probably more but I can only list 100 that I kept track of). Don't be embarrassed by 100! Be proud! That's awesome.

Hunger Games is on my list of 'to read.' My current plan of books to read consist of the next Mercedes Thompson Book, then The Game of Thrones and probably more of that series unless I want to jump to the Wizards First Rule. I plan on dedicating lots of this year to those two series. Plus more, obviously.

Do you like graphic novels?

I'm currently reading Locke and Key by Joe Hill. He's only up to #3, but they are awesome horror graphic novels. I get mine from the library.

Well, I'm my world it's embarrassing because it shows the amount of time I waste doing nothing. I love to read (and don't tend to match up well w people who don't ) and value it in others but for myself if it wasn't during a time I couldn't be or wasn't doing something else it's time I was wasting because I SHOULD have been doing something else more productive. Therefore I need to justify to myself and others all this time I've wasted without accomplishing anything. Of course as a child I was constantly in trouble for reading so reading as a time waster is the only way its been presented to me so its rather embarrassing to show the sheer number of hours (no matter how fast I read) I've wasted ( ... )
