I still say that disowning your family is a perfectly valid option and that your life would be better for it.

My entire point is that is IS an option, if you would consider it. The only thing preventing you from taking that option is you.

Well, I'm very fond of my dad and do fine with my brother so disowning everyone isn't really What I'd want but if I stopped talking to my mother I'd have to give them up too. Add to that I'm not the sort of person who will deliberately hurt people and I have no desire to be. Especially my mother who I owe and who has no one else...
Well, that takes ignoring my family off the table. As she likes to point out if I get irritated about things she's in another state and at the moment doesn't effect my daily life. So I really shouldn't have any complaints I guess.
Sigh. I just want everything over and my life back. And to be able to get some sleep!
