Just went to see Surrogates at the AMC.
It was quite good.
Trailers included the Tim Burton produced 9 (for a CGI movie it looks a bit violent - but it is Tim Burton).
It is 2017, in a world where humans replace themselves with robot versions of themselves called Surrogates.
When a advanced weapon is fired at a Surrogate, it kills the human linked to it (frying his brain!).
Bruce Willis is a cop who investigates the case.
James Cromwell is the mad scientist who invented Surrogates, who wants to get revenge when his own company fired him.
Ving Rhames is a human leader, who it turns out is a Surrogate controlled by James Cromwell's character. He is almost unrecognisable with a beard and long hair.
Some Surrogates use an electronic device that seems like they are taking drugs (but with a blue electrical shock).
The human selves look old. The Surrogates young and good looking.
