I saw Chantal in concert when she was pregnant last October. First of all she was the most charming person I've ever met. And what a MUSICIAN! It was just her and her piano. I was blown away... honestly you think of the other female artists out there and they are more "entertainers" than anything. She sat at the piano and just played and sang. I ( Read more... )

I saw one of those shows - the October Ontario tour when she was pregnant with Rowan. Which show did you see? I saw the one in Wndsor, at the Chrystler Theatre in the Cleary. :) I do recall her singing that for her baby and saying, "Baby before you, I was a size two..."

He He I was at that same concert. It was funny and gave me goosebumps. She was really funny the whole night... especially when she was talking about how nurses are better than doctors. It was probably me that you heard screaming uncontrollably ;)

hahaha Maybe you were with the girls sitting next to me :)
I was in the fourth row of the River Run Center I believe, in the center. I had to go by myself because none of my friends like Chantal!!! Would that stop me? NO!!! I'll go to a concert by myself, especially for her!
and because I didn't have any annoying pple with me I was able to stay after the show to get her autograph! YaY! :D
Didn't you love the setting and atmosphere of the concert? It totally wouldn't have been the same in an arena or something. (for everyone else, it was in a beautiful theatre in Guelph and the lights were dimmed... oh it was lovely!)

Same tour - different venue, but I loved the atmosphere - it was so awesome. My mom bought me four tickets for my birthday and I actually had to drag my friends along! :(
For that reason, I didn't get her autograph.
But I still had a GREAT time!
Did she do an imitation of Celine Dion at the concert you guys were at? She did that at the Windsor concert, and OMG was it funny.

Glad you had fun! But it sucks that your friends were like that. Why can't people just let others enjoy their moments?? If I was with a friend seeing a band I didn't like, I'd still wait with them after the show to get autographs... silly!!

it didn't help that we were too young to drive at the time, so my mom had to take us, and it was a school night. God i hated being a freshman.
