So Much Busy

I swear writing is, like, 10% actual writing, 10% getting it ready to be published and 80% doing what you can to advertise. The new book - previously titled All the Devils are Here, now titled Magic's Perdition - is about a week away from going live but can currently be pre-ordered on Kindle. You can read excerpts of it on my author journal, and ( Read more... )

Congrats on the new book coming out hon.

Weather has been weird here. One day it's in the 70's and the next we're in the 50's. It's supposed to be a cold snowy winter coming. Don't think it will be mild but the weatherman and the Farmers Almanac are not always right.

Thank you :D

I've heard rumors of a possible cold winter but I'll believe it when I see it. I swear it's like the weather is fighting to keep summer around. Which is ironic since it's usually trying to keep winter around :/ Oh, weather, go home you're drunk.

Oooo, many congrats on the book release! That is awesome! Heh, I feel your pain on the ongoing struggle of advertising and self-promotion, though. It's crazy how much you actually have to do to make a viable go of things these days.

We've had some unseasonable warmth this last week too. It's been nice on the whole... but yes, bugs starting to make a reappearance just when they'd disappeared. I've heard it is supposed to be cold and snowy this year, though, so we'll see.

What's really frustrating is that there are indie authors who don't advertise at all and their books do great. I'm like, "How!" (apparently, though, sci-fi does really well in the digital book market. Fantasy, on the other hand... not as much :/)

Yeah, there's been talk of a possible cold winter for us as well. I'll believe it when i see it, though. (On the other hand, temperatures have been moving toward the low side. If this continues then we could be in for a cold December at least).
