As far as I know, refrigerators are pretty reliable. Last year our refrigerator broke - it was about 30 years old! And it could be repaired, but we desided that it would be some kind of technical necromancy, so better let it rest in peace =) As for computer speakers and other computer stuff - maybe there are any IT vendors, or maybe IT departments ? I suppose they would be happy to have such a present to dismember (as opposed to directly putting all the stuff into trash). And happy New Year too!
