It did, yes. Edinburgh is a very beautiful town, no doubt about it - and all the mountains/hills surrounding it help - and the National Museum of Scotland was great, but Glasgow just felt ... fresher, somehow. Less touristy.
Wow, what a haul! Loved the pic of you, Skull and Derek. Glad you had fun and the rope bridge sounds amazing. Definitely going on my list of things to do.
Yeah, as far as "getting stuff" goes, those were some successful signings! :D
It was a great trip. Unfortunately I must have picked something up from an airport or whatever, because I've now had a sore throat and low fever and bad general head cold for a couple of days now and it's not getting any better yet...
The signings were fun. At least when you don't need to queue completely alone, the hours of waiting are well worth it with Derek signings!
I wish you could have been there too! So much lovely sightseeing - even if we did end up doing the tour bus thing in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast, since I really just couldn't bear the thought of only walking all day long every day.
Also, if you ever get the chance, the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh is great. I loved their science and natural history parts in particular.
