Had plans to go out for a short walk with mum today but as soon as I got out of bed this morning, I knew that plan was not to be. Foot's worse than it's been for a few days now - well, was quite irritating in the morning, back now to the somewhat more optimistic state it was in two days ago. Still, not a walking foot, unless I absolutely must, so

Yes! I don't know if it was born (well, hatched) like that or has just lost the tail somehow, but it seems to be doing okay.

It really was a pity on Saturday. At least I got to relax on the balcony - first time this year that it's been warm enough to just sit outside for a few hours.
