So what drew you to the series naruto?

I stole it from a friend who interviewed a fanartists friend of ours.
Since I have so many friends who are fanauthors I thought this would be a great idea. It's really nice to get to know these people especially since they can see so distant sometimes.

This was the first fanfic writer interview I've ever read... very nice. It would be great to read more of these, and get the writer's POV on their own work and on the fandoms they write in.

It's so cool that you're doing interviews! I love hearing other authors' viewpoints, and when they are good writers, it really means a lot.

so often with fanauthors or any authors we just feel this sense of distance from them.

Getting a personal note or looking at their personal thoughts on subjects can be very enlightening and it can help you too look at their writing in a completely different way.

I know after doing these interviews that there are stories that I will read again with a whole new perspective.

Indeed! I love how the author's viewpoint and the actual story don't always match up. You can find out the author's actual opinion, and sometimes it changes the whole story. :) Lovely interview, btw.
