So I'm biking home today, and I overtake a car stopped at a light. The light turns green and I easily dust him around the corner. Now usually, cars catch me during the turn or shortly there after, even if I didn't have to break to catch the light. this guy, took noticibly longer. Once he finally caught up to me, I glanced over at his car

I've driven a Prius. I didn't like how it handled.

Personally, I can't wait for Chevy to develope an Astro Van or an S10 that gets 50mpg. That would be worth spending $30 grand on. I love my current Astro, but at 16mpg, it's painful to drive. I've also considered getting it converted to Biodiesel, but that's still a few years off.

Why do you want to spend more on fuel than less? Diesel cost more than gas does and I don't see that changing.

I buy as much as 200 gallons of diesel a day. I know how much it costs.

There is a diesel hybrid engine that I would like. In my Hyundai accent it would get like 100mpg the only problem is the engine would cost me like a half a million to buy. If I remember right there are only two of them. There both at University of San Diego's tech department.
