Or at least it will be, starting Friday. Desperate Hours (my band!) West Coast tour! Tour dates are all set, we are doing the final mix down on the recording tonight after being in the studio all day yesterday, the van is in as good of shape as it will get, and now I just need new earplugs

I saw Krakatoa a few weeks ago. They were rippin'. I'll try to come to your Portland show. The Portland 'Zine Symposium is that weekend, so I might end up busy with that stuff, but I'll try!

Someday you'll have to explain to me how you managed to get those shows booked. I've spent the past 4 years trying to get a tour for my band together...

Actually it's because all the punk/hc shows in my area are put on by my friends, often in their house. So we made enough connections with touring bands and friends further afield to make it happen. I didnt set any of them up, so I cant take credit.

That, and it's way easier to book punk tours than metal tours, way easiePr

Luckily, this date comes during one of the off cycles of my chemo.
I won't be able to drink much and I will still be hyper-sensitive to cold until sunday-ish. (oxaliplatin has fun side effects) But I really want to hear your band at least once.

I found a myspace page for Cropduster
which includes two tracks, one is a kind of remake of the KISS song - "Detroit Rock City" called "West Oakland Rock City" and the other is called "3 quarts/chords to Valhalla"

They don't mention any playdates or Ezi's

I also found a myspace page for The Desperate Hours but I'm doubtful that this band from Glendale, AZ is your band.
