Friday at 0945 hours, I will once again submit myself to the rigorous testing of the State Road Department to see if I know enough to be let out on the roads.

Or better - drive safely ;-).

And remember to obviously peer into any side road and other "crossing". One of my friends failed because of that...
Don't forget to check the rear mirror, as well.
And try to get that expert talking - about something he likes ;-).
Friday is good. They're in a much less nasty mood then.

More people fail because of faulty gear-changes than anything else.

Might well be...
Of those I personally know, most passed first time. One failed because of sideways parking - or - well, not :-). One see above. One didn't even make it to the test, teacher strongly advised to just give up after roughly 100 lessons ;-). That guy passed the bike test on first try, though. Seems he wasn't much into steering wheels, or something...

So: Go change some gears, this afternoon? Preferably uphill, both ways ;-P!
