Yup. :) If I've had a particularly hard day or something, Kamy will ask me if I just want to go to our room and read. It is really refreshing to me. I need to be better about doing it on GOOD days as well....:)

When I was having brain dysfunction, I couldn't read. I could see the words on the page, and I could read each word separately, but I couldn't understand a sentence because I'd forgotten the words before by the time I got to the last one. Interestingly enough, I could watch television. It didn't take hardly any brain function to follow a story on screen (not that I had any nuances of clues inserted or foreshadowing). It underscored to me how much more involved our brains are when we read versus watch passively a story on TV. Regaining the ability to read has been a great blessing that I do not take for granted.
