I found you by way of a text-rendering problem's textsnip (optical conversational distances) in the Mac community, and decided that you might well be a genius and I *must* read more. I hope you don't mine me adding you as a friend and doing so.
My name is Bre and I live in NY. Carol (bluiidmommy) recommended you to me when I was asking for recommendations for Christian friends on LJ. I'm in med school and have a somewhat boring life, but I would love to be "friends" with you after reading yoru public entries. I will add you so you can read some of my entries if you want. God bless you:) Bre

Hi Katherine. I knew, vaguely, that you and some other LJers attended a church that met on Saturday. Is it an offshoot or related to Armstrong's Church of God?
I know that Armstrong's C.O.G. has gone thru quite a bit of change in the last decade or so? If you're a part of that denomination, how are things going? I'm under the impression that a few years after Armstrong's passing the church made some changes in it's doctrines and theological understandings? From the outside, it appeared to become more "orthodox" if that's the proper term.

I saw your post on Mike Bennett's Forward to the Kingdom blog. My maiden name is Rowland, and although I doubt we are directly related, I see that name so seldom I like to touch base when I do. Read a bit of your public blog - quite interesting. I will probably come back and see more when I have time.

Thank you for stopping by to visit! Rowland is my married name; it is nice to know someone else who shares it, even tangentially! I hope you will be back to visit!
