I've finally come to terms that I have a really bad habit of starting to write a story, getting halfway through it and then leaving it to crawl away and hide in some file deep within my computer because I no longer have any intrest in it

Pretty much, yeah. I'm only trying to get as much of this done while I have the holidays, because no doubt I'll get back to school and I'll get no time to write. Hell, I haven't had pretty much any time this entire year because of school and it sucks *insert angry face*
