NaPoWriMo 2010 #8: Retcon

I was still annoyed over those last two stories, so I decided to write something dumb. Really dumb. Really, really, really dumb. Crackfic! I started a crossover, and then I realized that to rationalize it I needed to drag a third universe into the crossover. Also when I got stuck, I made myself insert pop culture references. So yeah - about ( Read more... )

A British minifigs company and your favorite TV show set in Miami, at the very least.

I didn't know enough about minifigs to guess that one, and Burn Notice seemed more like a playful cameo than an active ingredient in your crack recipe.

Sure. I thought you particularly would be amused at the sudden intrusion of Mr. Westen's little monologue, though. Particularly because it actually (kinda) works for Kerrigan.

I think I LoLed a bit in the back of my throat.

No really I like it, save for the fact that not much attention was given to things outside of gross expressions (gross as in size) and we got precious little perspective though I admit that's a point of contention with my own purple prose.

In general the crackfic angle was GLORIOUS, Kerrigan as the Nid-Queen? AHAHAHAHAH. -Bueno-. I umm... See.. There doesn't seem like any reason for them to have sex after... but then... Why -wouldn't- they!?! Eh? Eh Comrade? Eh?

Yeah, somehow I ended up skipping the toxin-fetish sex. Whoops! I forgot that Phage has a magical death-curse thing, it's not actually poison as such. I could probably twist that into a masochism session between them. That would be interesting. Anyhow, yes, they are not exactly in love, they are the same person now, so those two bodies doing sexual things is a possibility that stays on the table.

I got; MTG, Warhammer 40K, some sort of commonly referenced MMO (I'd heard of the Slivers before), and Terminator.

Slivers are from the MTG universe, and Sarah Kerrigan and the swarm are from the Starcraft universe.

Also Teferi is just cool in general.
