It's been eons since I last updated, but here's a quick update on my life. Class started back up about a month ago, and I somehow got roped back in to working saturday nights at Bern's (and now thursday nights in the kitchen, which is why I've been absent from BB's. w00t! I'm very happy for you. I know you'll do well, because it's something I know you love doing.

And yes, Ambrosia does sound a little pretentious/hokey. How about 'The Sweetness' (may have some problems getting this one away from Jimmy Eat World) or possibly 'Affectionate Confections'? I know, lame names... but still slightly better than Ambrosia. ;-)

GOOD LUCK! And call me! You never call me! *turns off his Jewish grandmother circuit now*

Hmm..."The Sweetness" sounds equally pretentious to me...or like a strip club. And one day I'll call, but don't feel bad cause I don't call anyone these days.

mmmm....fumes. I just can't stand the idea of my name in the business, I don't know why. But you do make a good point.

As long as she doesn't call it Kristen's Kreamy Konfections. Although with Florida one never knows-- that might actually increase business.

Sweet Simplicity..."Sweet" for obvious reasons..."Simplicity" for the natural, no preservative part of it. I only got that idea from the_stang who said "that suggests the kind of sweetness found only in homemade candy."

Ooh, I like it. I wonder if I have to register the name if I'm only working markets and craft shows?

Good luck! I'd love to be one of your testers. Since I can't have chocolate (or alot of it), I challenge you to create goodies that are no caffiene.

I like the "Sweet Simplicity" - you could mark all your stuff with a cute SS design.. what about "Simple Pleasures"

I plan to make quite a few with white chocolate shells (like blueberry bundt cake), and maybe a few with peanut butter coating, too...and those are caffiene free. I'm also going to experiment with pectin jellied candies. I really like that 'SS' idea...I bet I can get Matt to make a really cool design, too.
