Ugh, I feel for you! We had this issue in our office, and one actually died in my boss's office, the smell was disgusting, and no one could find it. When we called maintainence, it turned out that it was inside one of the radiator vents and they had to take it apart. Thank God it wasn't winter with the heat on!

I hope you can find it and get rid of it soon without having to cut holes everywhere. This reminds me of that Discovery show called Verminators. Some lady had rats/mice in her attic and they were getting in from the outside via a tree branch that lead up to a hole somewhere near the roof....*shudder*

Oh gads, that sounds awful. Reminds me of the time last year when I was CONVINCED that we had bed bugs. That feeling of your home being invaded/unclean is really terrible. I hope you guys figure out some way to get rid of the critters. Maybe try another exterminator?
