This was very interesting. I don't have the means to go to any GS so it was nice experiencing it vicariously.

It's the one time of year where being broke for travel is okay, as this is only an hour from where I live. Glad you enjoyed. Will be posting Saturday pics shortly.

Omg Richie/Tommy/Magnus/Stan!!! ♥_♥ So jealous! :)

That's cool that you got to meet Ben, haha. Shame Vicky lost, but it's nice to see her back and competing.

It's heartening to hear about the kids not having time for Nick. I remember part of the reason I wasn't that into tennis when I was younger was in part due to the assy behavior of a lot of the famous/top players around at the time and that being a turnoff for me. I'd read on my TL that Stan was getting heckled about Kyrgios during one of his practices (it was an earlier one, not the one you saw) and I felt really bad for him.

That shirt is fantastic, haha. :D Anyway glad to hear you had fun at the USO and thanks for the report :) :)

I admit I didn't stay for Tommy... mainly because he was practicing with Fognini, who is frustrating to watch in practice.

One thing I will say is that the top players are really good for the fans. With one notable exception (Sharapova), every player I saw on Armstrong or Grandstand was great about pictures and autographs (the set-up is awkward at the practice courts and Court 17). Will be posting Saturday pics shortly.

I wish I was more of a Stan fan to make buying that shirt worthwhile. It has made me jealous I've never found a good Andy shirt (well, outside of what Kim wore at that Berdych match, but everyone I know would think it was music related).
