I like winter, but Austin is literally my favorite city. It's a big city and has all the goods things a big city has, but it is still green and natural and has a totally funky vibe. That said, did you hear that yesterday they had to close the entire downtown because they found more than 60 dead birds. Creepy!

You might want to reconsider because, well, you might dislike living in the South as much as I did. Lovely to visit, but avoid living there if at all possible.

Just to clear up the confusion, since this post is a year old, I am currently working on an MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. It's cold here.
