Poker Face

Yunho had become a different person - a different man, a different man with feelings, with emotions. Yunho had felt it, felt him sinking in deeper, falling faster - bordering obsessive, no - not obsessive. It was love, he loved JaeJoong - he knew it, there was no way of denying it.

JaeJoong filled every corner of his brain, seeping in and silencing the evil menacing voices that tortured him for years - finally, finally, he could sleep without having to medicate himself.

Every night JaeJoong would sneak into Yunho's room and into his blankets - like a child making sure his mother hadn't left him. Pulling at Yunho's arms and wrapping them around him in a tight embrace. Yunho would jolt awake, finding JaeJoong in his arms; find him lacing himself around Yunho as if trying to be a second coating of Yunho's skin. From then on, Yunho would wait - as difficult as it was, he would wait. Wait for night when JaeJoong would come to him, when they would embrace, kiss, and he would taste the sweetness of the smaller man's full lips. He never tasted anything sweeter.

Selfish, they both became too selfish. Becoming two immature children - two lovers who needed to be joined at the hip, or they would go insane. It both scared them, scared them to the bone - but they never felt anything like it before, maybe for once, selfish was a good thing.

"I don't have the money Jun Ki." Yunho said to the man on the other line.
"You're a dead man walking, Yunho" the voice replied.
"I've got to leave, don't I?"

After a month and seven days, Yunho had packed, kissed the sleeping JaeJoong goodbye, and left. Leaving Ara Sunbae his number in case of emergency - he knew she would never call.

//

Yunho had gone back to his club, went back to his drinking and his women. It was a celebration - a homecoming for Yunho's return. Every day and every night it was nothing but drinking and sex. Some say Yunho had snapped, some say he became a legend, and some say he was pure evil.

He took in ten or more girls a day, he himself didn't know how he did it, how he managed to summon enough energy, but he was trying to keep himself alive; trying to pay off his loans by his own means  - they spread their legs, and he pounces - nothing romantic about it. But the women didn't care, didn't care that Yunho had changed - he no longer said sweet lovey dovey things, no longer tried to enchant them with his words, and most of all he did not let anyone kiss his lips - afraid that the only thing he had left of JaeJoong would rub off. The sweetness never did leave his lips. But the women welcomed the poor soul, happy to be a distraction from what seemed to be eating at him. But he didn't feel anything, it felt like nothing - he had become a robot, doing what he knew best and tried to gain money from it.

Yunho stared down at a woman he had screwed many times before, she was great pay - so he took her in whenever he could. She was a beautiful woman of 35, married to a wealthy business man, and had 2 children. She stared back at him, her eyes wide as he thrust into her. Her mouth wide open with gasps and moans. Yunho barely made a groan - in his own world with a glass look in his eye - he felt nothing.

The man on top of her was Jung Yunho, she knew it, but somehow looking up at him - he looked unfamiliar. His eyes were softer even with his glass expression. It saddened the 35 year old woman, wishing she could please him, wishing she could console him.

"Yun - ho - ah - ah. Yunh -ahhhh." She moaned, turning her head at the vibrating cell phone on the bed stand, "Yun-ah!"

She reached to touch the man's lips, startled when the man violently jerked backwards - he finally snapped back into reality. Touching his lips, as if he were afraid something had been rubbed off.

"Please - don't" was all Yunho said, thrusting back into her.

"Yun - can't you hear your phone?"

He barely glanced at it as he grabbed it and put it to his ear - "Hello?"
Silence - "Hello?" - more silence.

"Hang up Yun-ah." The woman moaned as Yunho slowly pushed in and out of her.

"Listen, I'm hangin -"

"Hyung." One word, one voice - was all it took to have Yunho pull out in one swift movement, and running into the bathroom. "Hyung," the pained voice repeated again, Yunho clutched his heart as if to keep it from exploding out of his chest.

"JaeJoongie?" he breathed, "how did you get -"

"I made Ara Sunbae tell me." JaeJoong mumbled, "I have surgery tomorrow." Yunho frowned, leaning against the door, waiting, "I set up my eye surgery tomorrow." Yunho formed his lips into an O, but said nothing.

"I want to see you Hyung - I want you to be there. You'll be there won't you Hyung?"

His insides twisted listening to JaeJoong's pleading voice, "Please be there Hyung - that's all I ask. I just want to see you." Silence, Yunho didn't respond.

"I just want to see you." He whispered again, quickly hanging up, the line went dead.

//

Yunho walked into the white sunlit room, his foot steps light and soft, stopping a few feet away from the bed. His gaze focused on the man sitting in the white blanket covered bed, looking out the window - as if he could see the sun outside shining in on him - he smiled, a look of calm on his face.

"Hyung, you came." His voice was meek and soft. Yunho nodded numbly, unable to speak a word. "How have you been, are you okay?" JaeJoong asked hopefully.

Yunho stupidly nodded again, silent. JaeJoong brought his eyebrows together in a slight frown.

"Hyung?" The smaller man choked, "did I do something wrong? Did I make you mad?"

Yunho's throat locked up even more. He tried to speak, but he felt like he was choking. All he could do was stare at JaeJoong with sad eyes, not even being able to bring himself to hold the smaller man.

"Hyung? Hyung?!" He screamed, the silence deafening him, "why did you leave me, why did you leave?"

JaeJoong shoulders shook as he began to sob out muffled cries. Gritting his teeth, Yunho tried to push away his tears. "You said you wouldn't leave! You said! Didn't you promise?" JaeJoong cried louder. He had become a child, a child that had been left once before - and was shattered having been left again. Everything, from his gestures to his crying was childlike - desperation and loneliness sliced him open, revealing a broken and limp JaeJoong who longed for someone to love him.

That's why I left you JaeJoongie - all I do is lie to you. I can't do anything for you ...

JaeJoong threw off his blanket and stepped down from the bed. His arms outstretched as they reached for Yunho - grabbing hold of Yunho's dress shirt, he slowly slipped down to his knees and grabbed hold of Yunho's legs, wrapping his arms around his thighs.

"You promised." He sobbed into Yunho's legs.

Yunho hated himself, hated his very existence, every bit of himself - at that moment he wanted to die, and burn in hell where he belonged. Looking down at the man that clung to him, he felt himself burning - his insides burning and twisting together - knotting in an agony he couldn't describe. He pulled back, in a grimace, a scowl painted on his face.

"I'm not your brother! I'm not your Hyung Kim Junsu." Yunho screamed at JaeJoong, whose face turned pale - but he didn't look surprised at all, "I just wanted your money kid, just your money." Yunho pulled back his lips, revealing teeth - he couldn't cry, he wouldn't cry.

This is it Yunho, your last role - play it well.

"Sorry kid, but it wasn't what you thought." Yunho said coldly, turning at his heel and walking out with his hands balled into tight fists at his sides.

"HYUNG, HYUNG!" JaeJoong screamed, crawling aimlessly on his hands and knees trying to follow Yunho out of the room, "Hyung, don't go!"

Loud pleading cries escaped the smaller man, wild-frantic cries that stabbed at Yunho's already throbbing
heart. Stopping at the end of the hall, he watched as the smaller man slowly got to his feet, taking three awkward steps with one arm stretched out - not for security - no, not for that - but for Yunho. He wanted to hold the man that left him, the man that promised he wouldn't leave. Stumbling forward, he fell back onto his knees. He was frustrated with himself for not being able to see, he wanted to claw his eyes out, wanted to pound at them for failing him. He stretched his arms out once again, wanting the man to come into his arms. He knew he wasn't his brother, knew it from the first time the man kissed him - he knew, but he played along, wanting the man to stay with him forever.

"Hyung!" He screamed in a shrill voice that sliced through the hall. Yunho watched, his hand clamped onto his mouth to keep from screaming. He fought the impulse to grab JaeJoong's frail body, to envelop him in his arms and promise him things he couldn't give. He watched helplessly as two nurses grabbed him from behind, pulling him back onto his feet, "Hyunnng!" He screamed repeatedly, pulling away from the nurses, unrelentingly until his hoarse voice began to crack.

"Hyung, please don't - don't, please!" He cried, "I just wanted to see you -"
More nurses came and hauled JaeJoong back into his room, still screaming, "Hyung, I just wanted to see you."

Yunho stepped back, weak in the knee's - he was suffocating, leaning his back to the wall, he slid down onto the floor - grabbing hold of his hair and gripping it in his palms. He pounded the back of his head on the wall as he cried to himself, cried until he couldn't breath, his brain pounding ready to explode. He cried until his throat felt like it was bleeding, tensing his body, he felt the hospital walls were closing in on him, crushing him - killing him.

- - -

How long has he been in there?" Jun ki asked, looking at Yunho with an agonized expression.

"2 hours." Yunho responded, closing his bloodshot eyes.

"Come, lets buy some smokes." Jun Ki said softly, clutching Yunho's shoulder.
Yunho looked at the hospital entrance and nodded. "What are you going to do after this Yunho, you're already passed due" Jun ki asked.

"Save myself." Yunho answered.

//

"Here you go." The cashier said sliding the packet of cigarettes. Jun Ki pulled out 30 dollars and laid them on the counter.

"What the fuck?!" Jun Ki screamed, Yunho turned slowly, meeting the gaze of a man that held a gun -

BANG BANG 1, 2 bullets entered Yunho's chest. The man threw a cell phone onto the ground and  walked out, gun in hand - a mock smile on his face. Excruciating pain surged through Yunho's body, he gnashed his teeth together and he fell forward grabbing hold of the cell phone, and putting it to his ear.

"Fuck!" Jun Ki cried.

"Yunho, I warned you didn't I? You should have kept your word."

"You son of a bitch!" Yunho croaked, it hurt to talk.

"I warned you." click.

"Jun Ki, take me to the hospital." Yunho sputtered, slowly getting to his feet.

//

Yunho was soaked in blood by the time he dragged his feet through the hospital entrance, and up the elevators - dragging himself to JaeJoong's surgical room.

"What are you doing Yunho! we have to get you -"  Jun Ki screamed.

"No, No!" Yunho croaked, he could feel the blood at his throat now, "It should be over now."
His hair wet and pasted down onto his head, his body cold and damp with sweat. Yunho inched himself, Even the smallest step hurt - but he wouldn't stop. His eyes snapped open as he doors of the surgical room opened and they wheeled a sleeping JaeJoong out, a white cloth rolled over his eyes.

"How was it?" Yunho choked on the blood gurgling in his throat.

"It went fine." The doctor responded looking at Yunho in sheer terror.

"JaeJoongie -" Yunho's mouth fell open in a silent scream, "I wanted you to see me too."
His body writhed and twisted painfully - his muscles tensed and rippled as he fought to keep himself alive. It was too much, the pain was too unbearable.

Falling to his knees, his eyes rolled over in their sockets, as his body hit the floor - allowing the dark to surround his numb body.

//

Jun Ki watched, teary eyed as the priest put the two vases of ashes into the metal tombstone box. It made headlines "Male host club owner killed due to unpaid loans!" - "Heir commits suicide after lover is killed!" their star-crossed love story was a hit for people. They took it all in, feeling sympathy for the two lovers who couldn't make it. As unfamiliar faces crowded the cemetery, paying their respects for the dearly departed. There huddled together were Yunho's lonely women and Ara Sunbae and other Kim workers crying, possibly in a genuine sorrow. Shaking his head, he felt sick knowing these people knew nothing about Yunho and JaeJoong.

"Let us pray for these 2 individuals and may they rest in peace, Amen."

//

Jun Ki clutched his luggage as he walked into the airport. Moving swiftly, you would have thought he was made of money and not a male host. He looked at his watch and nodded as he stood in front of the boarding for Los Angeles, California. Nodding again, he took a seat in front on two men wearing hats, clutching eachother's hands tightly - the taller man looked up.

"Whoa, Jun ki. You're on time." The man smiled, a handsomely beautiful man showing rows of beautiful whites.

"Don't ever, fucking make me bury you again Yunho." Jun Ki cried in a high tone.

The man just smiles, and kisses the man beside him, who looked at him with wide innocent eyes. A shy smile spread on his smooth lips.

Jun ki looked away embarrassed, as the two men clung onto each other kissing each other so fervently, as if unaware people surrounded them. But they were after all - ghosts, dead men walking. Lacing themselves together, afraid of separation, afraid that one would go to hell and the other heaven. Lacing lacing - they promised never to untangle. Where you go, I go - even if I follow you to hell.

Boarding for L.A California - a woman announced  into the speaker.

"Are you ready?" Yunho asked kissing the smaller man's nose.

"Ready than I'll ever be." The smaller man answered, turning to Jun Ki, "Hyung, thank you for burying me too."

He smiled at Jun Ki, a brilliant smile that warmed Jun Ki's heart.
Did he feel something? Something between us?
Jun ki wondered.

Jun Ki handed Yunho his luggage, a small smile on his lips. Hand in hand the two angels walked off smiling, smiles that reached their eyes and made them even more beautiful. Angels, ready to spread their wings.

They were beautiful, Yunho his boss - his friend, and JaeJoongie - his brother.
With tears in his eyes, and a smile on his face - he let them go.

Good bye, Yunho. Good bye JaeJoongie.
Kim Junsu waved as the airplane went up, flying off into the sunset.

I thought I would make it, but sadly it is now Wednesday, my Tuesday deadline has passed!
Anyways, I would have updated earlier but I was sick in bed all day. SO horrible - I felt so pissed. I was medicated since 5AM this morning, and it failed me so it was back pain+leg numbness+cramps. Damn it. But I tried to get on to atleast type it down, but I couldn't. I'm sorry - but I'm feeling much better now ;D

But I swear I was being punished for being too perverted about JaeJoong,YOU know what I mean Rad! ;P
Just to get a Jist of why I think I was being punished please  lCLICKl

Sso basically to sum everything up quickly - quickly? Was it too quickly - shoot I don't know. I just put everything in short episodes. From the very start of this story, I had it in my mind that both of them were going to die - JaeJoong would die from surgery and Yunho would commit suicide - my twist was Junsu is really Jun Ki. You really DONT know why Junsu never confronted JaeJoong - heck for all we know he wanted the inheritance but had to get rid of both JaeJoong and Yunho. Well that was the ending for my sad version & yeah don't ask about the money, cause I don't know where it went, Instead of a sad ending I ended up, doing this instead. Its not too sweet, not too lovey dovey - but somehow. It's something. Forgive me, for I am not at my best
