I hear ya! I kept telling her to stop wishing for it so hard, just because her friends were getting it. SO not fun. About to start again myself today. UGH! I'm so ready for menopause! ;)
Do you remember when we first met online? I'm not sure. I've been married since 1998, so almost as long as I've been online (since 1997). Hope you are doing well! :)
I remember spending 1999 New Year's Eve online with all the E-Musers. We read fic and chatted and gossiped and did all manner of fangirly and otherwise things. By that point, I'd been a part of e-muse for a couple of years, I think. I know I got online in 1994.
But there are things I remember. Pictures of you and David are vague. Memories of Kim going through things with Bryan are much more vivid. We've been through a lot, us E-Musers.
I must have missed that fun New Year's Eve. I remember spending that evening with David, hoping all hell didn't break loose when we rolled over to 2000 and "all the computers died"! Remember that scare? We had to go to bed shortly after midnight, because he had to report to work the next morning at 6 a.m. to ensure the network was up and running to the governor of Georgia (he was IT director at a technical college then).
Is the Emuse list still around? I don't think I even know how to access it anymore. Just glad most everyone is on Facebook. :)
One of my friend's daughters started her period about a year ago and at one point she turned to her mom and said, "Stop looking at me like you're proud of me!!" Hahahahaaaa. Good luck with newly-hormonal!Mary Kate! ;-)
Glad things are going well and good luck with the job...
Thanks R! She's already been hormonal for months and months now, which is how I knew this was coming soon. She's hitting puberty and I'm perimenopausal. One of us may not make it out alive! ;)

Oh wow! I honestly don't know whether to congratulate Mary Kate or offer my sympathies ;-) But either way, glad to hear things are going well!
