Welcome back! I'm not sure when the last time it was I posted either...
Congrats to Mary Kate for keeping up her grades! All 3 of my kids have passes their grades this year only because so many kids in the district failed they couldn't hold them all back. 😑
So sorry to hear about loosing your job. Hopefully something comes up soon as restrictions ease.
Eeeeeep! It's been so long since I've been here, I can't remember people's user names - so please remind me who you are! Glad your kids all passed. What grades are they going in? And thanks for the job encouragement! :) Hope you're doing well, too.
Ive got a husband and 3 daughters, we lived in Tennessee south of Nashville up until last spring when we moved to North Carolina when he got a new job. I'm currently unemployed, had hoped to get a little job of some sort for play money (Joe's new job came with an enormous pay raise so we are very comfortable on his one income) but then covid happened and it just wasn't worth the health risk when it wasnt needed, plus I needed to be home to supervise online school.
The girls will be going into 10th, 8th, and 4th grade this fall.
We're doing well. I've been super busy the last few months as I was called to be the Relief Society President (my church's women's organization) for my whole ward. So, along with overseeing/planning the Sunday lessons and all Relief Society Activities, I help anyone in need in the ward. Like if they need meals brought in or help cleaning their home after a birth/death/surgery/etc, I set that up. Along with several other things I can help with. I also work with my counselors and Bishop to assign women to help work in Relief Society, ie: Sunday Teachers, Service Coordinators or Activity Committee or Ministering Sisters (who help visit and check on all the sisters so if someone needs my help, they can let me know.) I also help new sisters get to know everyone and all that. It's loads of work but I've been blessed with some amazing counselors and a secretary who are invaluable to me. So, yeah. Very busy. ^^()
