But, but. This is fucking awesome. You made great song choices (I honestly could not choose better) and they're very fitting for each scenes in Macbeth. The songs you chose help the reader see and understand what kind of emotions you see in the scenes and the songs express those emotions well. *-*
002 "... the track signifies that something important has occurred - which is Malcolm being named heir." You can leave out the which is. Keep it as, "... the track signifies that something important has occurred - Malcolm being named heir." The former is good, too. But instead of a hyphen, I would use a comma. =]
006 "... The track chosen for the scene is soft and long, drawn out notes." Mmmm. "The track chosen for the scene is soft and long with drawn out notes." ~> I think, that sounds better.
Well, that's all I could find that you could improve. But, really, this is quite amazing. I'm not sure if you could even improve it. O_O /awed
I figured out what was wrong with 006. I wanted to say "The track chosen for the scene is soft and HAS long with drawn out notes." Haha thanks for pointing it out, and for suggesting changes! ;;
...this is also... My first part of the ISU LOL I STILL HAVE TO DO THE SECOND PART I AM SO SCREWED.
Well the second part is just designing a costume for a character. Should be quite easy ;; Since i only have to draw. Making would give more marks but it's not due until the 20th orz. (but yes i should start D: )
Since I've never done Macbeth, this actually helps me understand this Shakespearean play more haha;;
Track 004 - Banquo's Ghost It feels a little...more repetitive that what it could be? I don't know how to phrase it properly, but based on your explanation, if it's the sudden appearance of a ghost that's supposed to take Macbeth and the audience by surprise, then the recurring loud-fade-to-soft defeats the purpose. (I s'pose if it's played softer it might have a different feeling.)
Track 007 - March It's so short?!
Props for Inception and the piano track! /in love forever The rest sounds fine to me, but then again music is subjective, so just make sure your opinion is strong. Take out your "woulds" and "shoulds" and sound more definitive in what you chose. :)
Ahh wel... ;; That's true but i was thinking of how, when he sees it the track comes up, and then he starts sprouting rubbish about how he killed him and stuff, and at that time the ghost can move around -- which could then fit into the repetitiveness of it? oh but but do you think i should soften it...
For 007 -> We don't actually see the march all the way to the Macbeth's castle. Act 5 Scene 6 is only... 11 lines long and then it becomes Act 5 Scene 7 which is of Macbeth talking about stuff, so i figured it'd be best to keep it short. D:
W-which piano track? Yonah? (oh my god the NieR soundtrack is pretty ;;; ) And all right, i'll fix it!
After the initial boom, I think you can do a gradual decrescendo until the end of the track so Macbeth's muttering can still be heard? (The audience is supposed to be aware of this, right?)
Oh! Okay, I didn't know about length, but if that's the case, short is good. :)
