mannn I don't even know what you've listened to already so maybe I'm totally off here, but Everyday Everynight, Kimi ga Suki Nanosa and La Vie en Rose are some of my favourites. :D My friend's said that the Shinayaka na Netsujou series is good too but I-I've never been able to get through it ;;;

bookwise... some of my favourite rn are A Tale of Time City by Diana Wynne Jones and The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides.

and, um, idk what seiyuu you're into but if you're interested in the guys in Haruka I have links to the entire vocal collection? (and I can rip the Yumenoukihashi Treasure Box drama CDs too, no problem ♥)

It is! I haven't finished any of her series but yeahhh. I haven't even read Howl's Moving Castle, i'm so fail. But i've read Charmed Life, and i liked it a lot. :D I think that was probably the first book of hers that i've read.

And then all the rest of of his books. Sputnik Sweetheart is nice, and Kafka is really well known but I haven't read it yet because the stupid library only loans things for three weeks before robbing them back from you. D
