I'm sorry I haven't been around enough to see how you're doing; I'm glad I'm not nearly as busy as I have been in the past few weeks. That said, I'm really glad I decided to go through your journal and catch myself up, as this is a truly beautiful entry. Your Yia-yia sounds like a wonderful woman, and you're so blessed to have had someone in your life like that. I also read the most recent entry, and I'm just so sorry. My grandmother died in Feburary and it destroyed me, but I know that after losing your grandfather -- this must feel so much worse. I wish I could physically be there to ease some of your pain because I identify with you a lot. I know how strong you are, though, and those aren't just empty words -- so I know that, surrounded by people who love you, you'll pull through every hardship. I'm always here to help as well if you need anything ♥

Your words mean a lot to me, because- as you say- they're not empty words. I'm very sorry to hear about your grandmother too... there's a bond there sometimes that I don't think a lot of people understand. Most people expect that, when it's a grandparent, it's just not bad because we all expect our grandparents to die.

Thank you for remembering my grandfather. You really do mean so much to me and you amaze me sometimes with your insight. I can't believe it's only been 10 months. I feel worst for my dad who has probably had his entire world crash around him in the last 10 months. He says he's doing very well, but I'm not so sure.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to read that at her showing tomorrow- I get so emotional.

Thank you for taking the time to catch up, for taking the time to comment such a beautiful comment, and for being here as always. ♥
