A little correction. We didn't strike up the conversation with Andy. I said to you "See you tomorrow morning at the Guitar Hero finals" as he headed down the hall away from us and he turned around and came back to ask *you* if you were in the finals. That's what started the conversation, Andy asking you a question.
Ed presenting you with his guitar pick was seriously one of the highlights of the second show. He was genuinely disappointed that he didn't get to play with you.
The man loves you. I swear, next show I'm bringing a camera and standing between you and Michael from San Dimas. I'll get the best pictures of Ed ever since he'll always be looking in your direction.
Thank your husband for me. He was the reason I ended up so close in BOTH shows, and I really appreciate it. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get back to my seat for the second show, but people were so nice about it!
You are correct - I kind of forgot the details of the Andy exchange there. *Sigh* So many good memories that some of them get a little fuzzy. Not the Ed moment on stage though - that memory is perfectly clear. :) Still cannot believe he did that to me. It was definitely the highlight of my cruise. Freaking amazing.
Luckily, you live close enough that I will probably be making treks over your way for shows from now on. Since clearly one BNL show per tour will no longer cut it.
And the husband has been thanked. :) He says "Noooo problem."
I have been waiting for your writeup!!! Wow it seems like you had a magical experience, just perfect in every way! I'm so happy for you. I wish I had gone now, but I'm sure I wouldn't have had such a great time that you did.
This made me laugh my ass off:
Kevin also said, “And you guys won’t even have to post about this, since you’re ALL HERE!”
Yeah, the guys were really in rare form all week. Ed truly *was* making a side project out of heckling everyone. It was quite fantastic. Of course, we're all proving Kevin wrong by posting incessantly about it, everything. They really seemed to be having a fantastic time though (and in fact, Steve has already blogged about how he can't believe how great it was and how he hopes he can carry the good feelings on with him).
I really think everyone there had a great time, aside from those who spent a lot of time seasick. Yes, I really did have a completely magical cruise, for sure. But everyone I know keeps declaring that it was by far the best vacation ever. And there will be one next year, so you might think about going! :)
Damn. What a great story! Thanks for sharing all of this. Sounds like one helluva fantastic experience. (Too bad you didn't win the door decoration contest though- it was really cool.)
:) I'm okay with the non-win. The winner really had a fantastic door, quite good. My sketch was good, but it didn't cover the whole door and wasn't the best.
And it was definitely a fantastic experience. Completely and utterly amazing, and I can't wait for next year!
I dunno about beating me in length though... I think I made quite the splash with the wordcount. LOL There's just so much! But I was taking little notes all week for my friends who couldn't be there, so I had a lot to work from.

Everytime I saw my name it made me doubletake, like "oh right, I was there too." I still have to write up my recap, I bet I can beat you in length! :)
