After 7 weeks of not updating, I feel like I should write an entry to let you all know that I haven't given up graphicsmaking and there'll definitely be an iconpost in the next weeks. Get ready for some changes and surprises, though ;). In the meanwhile, have a mini picspam because I never do these!

Everyone seems to be lusting after Ian for some reason and he's hot but so far I actually think that they're equally sexy ;). And you know, SLASH POTENTIAL x1000! (God, Spn SO did ruin me).

I certainly have some problems with this show on a completely objective and aesthetic kind of level but all the obvious flaws mostly don't bother me while watching (except for that whole "diary" thing and Elena&Stefan speaking unisono off screen sometimes, that definitely makes me cringe, lol. also, omg, TWILIGHT RESEMBLANCE. and ok, the dialogue is incredibly lame BUT YOU KNOW. HOT BROTHERS AND SLASH POTENTIAL!!! THAT DEFINITELY MAKES UP FOR PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING ELSE :D :D :D).

Well I was mostly lusting after Ian, but I have now also seen the light. Not that I didn't love the other actor as you know I know him from other stuff, but yeah I was more hung up on Ian. BUT OMG SLASH POTENTIAL. I realize that I haven't even read fic yet, so that has to be changed!

Oh yeah I dislike the diary thing too. And some other things, but for the rest it's just so enjoyable. I have yet to watch the latest episode an dhalf of the previous one as I fell asleep while watching it, because I'm just that exhausted.

I tried watching this show for Ian Somerhalder, but to no avail. It's just too hard for me to swallow the horrible writing and lack of acting skills from most of the cast. The few hot guys are not enough to reel me in. :( And I don't think the guy playing Stefan is all that hot either, hehe. Although that might just be because I saw enough of him when I watched Everwood.

Really lovely coloring though! I like picture #5. Ian has the tendency to look pretty good sometimes (even though his intense stares can kinda scare me at other times).

I can definitely understand your reasons, I have that with many tv shows as well. The show is without any doubt cheesy and incredibly stilted considering the acting and plot but for some reason I can't fathom I still enjoy it ^_^.

Oh lol, you have no idea how long it took me to find decent caps of Ian where he doesn't make unnatural faces or looks like he just bit into a citron when smiling, haha. It's really weird, from what I´ve seen of Lost, he's a great actor so I don't exactly understand why Damon comes off as such a fake, for lack of a better word. Like I told an friend in an entry, his character definitely lacks depth and three-dimensionality (which you can also say for most of the other cast, to be honest) but I am hoping that it'll get better with each episode :).

Although I think the show got a bit better with episode 4, now that there's an actual plot outline.

Very true, I loved the end with Damon showing a bit more "humanity", like Stefan put it :). Even though, wow, way to go with the stereotype "bad vampire showing feelings OMG", this show doesn't really know how to do subtle, lol.
