I voted for Hillary on the 5th. And I was feeling very conflicted about this, but not because I couldn't make up my mind about whether or not I want her to be the next President. Ha, well either way. I do say that you shouldn't vote for people just because they'll be the first ____ president. Whether it's female or black. There are quite a few other countries with female heads and I do think it's somewhat odd we haven't been able to get one here yet, but I'm ok if it takes a bit longer. Mostly, I was split between the two and then sided with Obama because I really felt he could bring in some change (or at least a good fight for change) and I liked his healthcare plan over Hillary's. I keep hearing her call it "universal" healthcare when it comes across to me as "mandatory" healthcare.

But, like that blogger, it's totally ok if you like Hillary for all those other reasons she mentioned, they're very good reasons. Don't worry, I'll never accuse you of voting with anatomy :-D.

Btw, I do find it kind of odd that the blogger seemed to make the argument that she totally is for Hillary based on her brain (totally ok with that) and that she's not voting for her just because she's a woman. Buuuuuuuuuut then says some things that seems to indicate that she is voting Hillary because she wants her to be the first woman president?

I agree with what she was saying that you can be a woman and vote for Hill because you think she'd make the best president. Just like you can be black and vote for Barak because you'd think he makes the best President. You shouldn't vote for either because you think it'd be great if they're the first ______. I'll only be disappointed in people who don't vote for who they feel will do the best job (even if they vote Pat Buchanan.....bleh).
