For one thing, someone should never question what they "deserve." A person always deserves the best in thier life, regardless of who they are. And thats what they should aim for as well. If you feel like you "deserve" something, go for it(as long as is legal and all). Just know that no matter who you are or where you are in your life, you deserve the best.
I have lost somebody who was incredibly important in my life recently (she didn't die, but she broke up with me for another guy). I was with her for 5 years and recently, after myself being away for a few months, came back and she told me things were different. Its hard and I just felt like I could relate to this post.
