Kristen's been here for six years. She says hello to everyone, including ickle firsties. She has to know you in some way or another! Did you have a meaningful conversation with her once about Crumpled Horned Snorkacks? Did she say hi to you in the hallway and you pretended you didn't hear her? Have you smacked her numerous times because you just

AND NOW for backstory! XD
~ Avis Abernathy, avis_abernathy, 5th year Gryffindor, the insecure mardybum of the school, it seems. Stubborn, loud, boisterous and argumentative, she tends to be very, VERY abrasive. HUGE jealousy problem, really. . .oy, she's just a horrible brat who's only friendly to a few people :P I'll be frank, she's a mess :) But for her, it more depends on how others take to her for backstory. She might be a bit put-off by Kristen's friendliness, as Avis is SO very opposite, so I can mostly just see Avis being very guarded and "Er. . .why are you talking to me? I don't know you!"
Man, even after playing her for a year, I STILL don't understand her sometimes :P
LUCKILY, my others are a BIT more threadable!

Here are my characters:
Alastar Jennings - Like Kristen, he is a Hufflepuff but he is one year behind her. Also he is rather friendly. He has a "boy-next-door" complex, where he is a well-rounded student, knows pretty much everyone, active in school events but still has that secret party boy attitude. Alastar is known to have a nervous streak around the ladies, especially if he has a crush on one then Merlin help him. He is a Pureblood though so he may not understand some of the things she might talk to him about. When Alastar is around his family members, he is rather guarded and extremely well mannered because he believes they expect him to be the leader when daddy isn't home. He'll still be mannered anyway but just more loose about it when he isn't. He plays keeper for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team (possible captain), so she'll definitely see him if she joins up.
MacDonald "Mac" Thorne (comc_macthorne) - Mac is her Care of Magical Creatures professor, and also Head ( ... )

Kristen would really like Alastar! :D She'd know him from either Quidditch, Hufflepuffness, or both. *nods* She'd talk to him a lot about things...and try to cut back on talking about any muggle-related things. XD So yeah, I could see them being friends! :D
She'd like Mac. :D She's not awful at Care of Magical Creatures so she wouldn't hate him just because of his class. If she had talked to him, which she definitely would have because she doesn't shut up, she would have admired him for his violin playing, something she was never too good at it at her muggle school. She'd also really admire him for being so loyal like her, but also being extremely intelligent, not like her. She'd be her normal friendly self to him as long as she doesn't sense that he's annoyed by her, because she's not quite stupid enough to annoy her Head of House, and would enjoy talking to himself. Probably about animals, since she loves them too. :D
It's so sad that Milo Isaac is graduating. XD ( ... )

Soo, Blake would definitely know her, he's a sixth year Hufflepuff as well. He'd like her, find her pretty amusing. He's very honest, kind of idealistic, and sort of boring and quiet, but yeah. He'd probably be overwhelmed by her at times, and tell her so, haha. :P

Kristen and Blake would be good friends, I think. Yeah, he'd probably have to tell her to calm down at times but she would (a little bit) and then everything would be cool again. She'd definitely like him. :D He would be boring and quiet no longer with her around. :P Or he would and she wouldn't mind at all since she'd think he's cool anyway. So I guess they just met at the Sorting Ceremony or something during their first year? Or just in the Hufflepuff common room? I don't have any creative ideas but if you do, that'd be great. XD
(I'm too lazy to log out and back in as Kristen but yes, this is the same person, for anyone wondering. Heh. XD)

So, Esme is my lovely 6th year Gryff. She's also very talkative and friendly to (almost!) everyone and would love Kristen. I know they're in different houses but I think they'd get along well and be friends. Also you've put Quidditch down - Esme loooves to fly.
My 5th year Slytherin Hargreaves (hargreaves_b) will be polite to her (he's a gentleman!) but probably won't know her all that well and won't have any interest in doing so. He's a kiss-ass and her being a Muggle means she is not worthy of his attention, haha. He's a wuss though so he wouldn't do anything to her, just brush her off.

Kristen loves friendly, talkative, Quidditch loving people so I think her and Esme would get along great! Friends for sure. *nods* Hm...bestest friends or friends? Silly relationship post. I might just merge the two categories to make it easier for myself. Anyway...not sure how they would have met exactly. They're in the same year but I don't have any cool ideas for a situation they'd be in where they'd really get to talk to each other. Kristen could have easily gone up to her in the hallway and introduced herself but if you have something more creative, that's awesome. XD
Kristen would talk to Hargreaves when she was bored and he was around, and she would wave and say hello to him in the hallways like she does with everyone, but she probably wouldn't go out of her way to talk with him constantly, luckily enough for him. XD She'd like how polite he is though but not enough to bug him to be her friend. :)

Haha. Hargreaves is probably wtf-ing that some girl he keeps blanking (politely, of course) is still waving to him. Being Hargy, whenever she acknowledges him then he'd have to respond and that would probably encourage her and it would be a whole amusing vicious circle thing, lol. I think he'd be a bit bemused. *pets him ( ... )

Haha. XD Oh, it'd definitely encourage her. Hehehe, yay vicious cycles! :D
I'd love to thread sometime! :D A thread with the three of them sounds great! :D Getting ahead of yourself is funn though, isn't it? :D

Noel - 5th year Pureblooded Slytherin - Daddy and Brother dearest are Death Eaters but she's really a nice kid. She's a beater on the Slytherin quidditch team so they could have met down at the pitch. She makes an effort to get along with everyone, If she's very openly anti-voldy they might not get along though.
redheadedlion - Maddy - 3rd Year Gryff - She's wary of older years so Kristen would have had to of approached her, not that it seems to be an issue :P Maddy's a hard worker in her studies as well, but loves to have fun when the work's done. She's a live in the present sort.
any ideas?

Since Noel makes an effort to get along with everyone, Kristen would really like her since they share that in common. She's not very openly anti-Voldemort at all and doesn't find it to be a worthwhile topic on her list of many worthwhile topics. XD I think they'd get along well. They would have met on the pitch, I think. Not sure how much she played during her first year (or when she joined the Slytherin team) but they could have met at a Huff/Slyth match, if Kristen makes the team. :)
Not an issue at all! :P Kristen would go up to Maddy, wary or not. She'd introduce herself and try to get Maddy to be unwary of at least Kristen. Then, if that worked and Maddy loosened up (not sure if she would or not...), she'd be very friendly towards her. She'd like her because she's also a hard worker who loves to have fun and live in the present. :D Not sure how they would have met exactly, other than Kristen randomly walking up to her when Maddy was a first year she didn't recognize.
