Estoy aburrida...

It's about midnight Wednesday (or Thursday now I s'pose). Amy's at Seth's house for the night, and I'm so bored! I did my outline for my synthesis on Mycenaean tombs (well, most of it anyway), and my teacher's going to go over it to make sure I've got the right ideas. White Clubs anonymous October 22 2005, 20:07:32 UTC
So, "Two wrongs don't make a right" eh? Well, if you don't approve of "black clubs," then wouldn't creating a "white club" be the second wrong in the situation? I think you have a valid point, and I feel the same way about affirmative action (the idea has its grounds, but I think instead of race being the main factor involved it should be income demographics). However, by trying to balance the minority-against-whites racism with whites-against-minorities racism would be taking a step backwards, in my humble opinion. There is still enough real whites-against-blacks racism in this country and in the world to make that completely unjustified. Just because you and I didn't grow up in a community where we have to witness it in person every day doesn't mean there's any lack of it in the U.S.A. So, if you really feel like the minorities are unjustified in their actions, I would consider taking a less racist actions yourself. Be proactive instead. Don't mean to preach, just want to show you the another point of view ( ... )

Ok, yeah black clubs, channels, etc. and their white coutnerparts are racist, by definition. And thought affirmitive action is usually written in with the phrase "equal-opportunity" it's racist, ipso facto. Also, racism isn't always wrong. Or is it? What's happening?
