i have friends out there that i still talk to pretty often, and i miss them, so i decided that as part of my christmas present, i'd fly out there for a few days and come back not long after new year's.

Those "you and a bestfriend only" combos rarely ever, and I do mean never, work out with you females. It's almost textbook. Inseperable for 3months and then bitter rivals for 3months. I've seen it a billion times. But I get what you mean when you say you want one. That, and the whole friends with fewer than many thought. What I think you really need is a sauve, and dare I say, handsome male friend, whom you occasionally get drunk and make out with.

It truely is beauty and the beast. And a very handsome beast at that, may I add.
