I made a new Equilibrium music video called "Touched." It features the tense relationship between Preston and Mary. He is tottering on the brink of awakening his emotions, and falls over the edge into her eyes. Download it here:
Curses to you... just, total, complete, curses.yunafireApril 12 2006, 05:56:35 UTC
Over at a comm I-cannot-say-the-name-of-though-I-told-you-about-it-earlier-cough-cough, I was able to... preview, ahem, "Equilibrium". Beautiful quality.
Few hours after watching it, as I'm viewing an old-time fave "Oliver" (1968 musical) I got a drive-by vid bunny. Just, out of nowhere, during "I'd Do Anything" I get one of those whispers of an idea... grr.
Tis all your fault, you know. You and your awesomeness.
I'm helpless to resist the Baleness. Not that he's one of my fave actors or nothin'

Shyeah, totally your fault, too. Just when I say 'Okay, no more fandoms, in fact, let's start cutting back...' I end up totally fangirling American Psycho, Machinist, Equilibrium -- still haven't found the time to rewatch Batman Begins, though it wasn't for a lack of resources. It came in at the library a while ago, and I checked it out for a week...and so it sat. Didn't find the time, unfortunately.
I'm uploading -- oh, wait, it's done already? Wow. Ja, here'a a link to the file. I discovered the song through Fantastic Four -- the official mvid of it features really fast editing between the movie and comic-book style counterparts; really cool. I have it ripped, if you'd like me to upload

Thank you! Downloading the song now. ;)
The glowing effect in "Closer" is, indeed, a Sapphire Plugin - the glowing filter. I added keyframes to it and adjusted the intensity of the brightness to make it appear like it's fading in and out. You can copy and paste keyframes as needed. I didn't have to layer anything for this effect.
Keyframes are always useful for faster songs if you want a certain effect to fade in and out, but I also find the regular "strobing" filter in premiere useful.
