anyway, about your question, i think youre the only one who can accurately decide what is right for you right now. i dont know exactly what bad thing your refering too but i know id definitely stay away if it was illegal or hurtful. if you feel like getting involved with this person is a bad idea, then it probably is.
remember, your good habits could rub off on him... but then again, he could rub off on you. it goes both ways.
kris, youre a good judge of character. if i was you, id consider the possibilities, decide if the stakes are too high, then go with your gut.
